An expert sushi chef will teach you, and all the ingredients are included.
Come this Wednesday, October 18th, to the HS Cafetorium at 4:00 p.m., and sushi your style!
Staff Picks is an initiative of the MS/HS Library to foster reading among ISP community by promoting personal and meaningful book recommendations. Our goal is to regularly feature a book recommended by teachers or staff with a one-line-quote review stamped on the cover. The Library will then promote it through different channels.
Some of the Staff Picks guidelines are:
- New Staff Picks recommendations will be featured every other week,
- The recommended book should be available at the Library (check the Online Library Catalog here)
- The one-liner review should be handwritten, short and sweet!
- The recommended book can be of any genre.
We will promote the Staff Picks initiative via MSHS Library Instagram (pics & short videos), the StuCo Board, and through a special display in the Library.

We all know how devastating these hurricanes have been to many countries in America, and we want to encourage our community to contribute with those affected by them.
We’ve been informed that a local restaurant called LOCAL in San Francisco is collecting essential items to send to Puerto Rico, for example:
- Bottled water
- Baby wipes
- Hand sanitizer
- Baby and adult diapers
- Canned foods
- Dry foods
- Baby formula
- Canned milk
- Canned and dry pet food
- Baby and adult pain relief medicine
- Mosquito repellant
- First-aid kits
- Batteries (especially C and D)
It will mean a lot for Puerto Rico if we can send items to help them in this moment.
